As per the Delhi High Court's verdict on Monday, reversed the trial court's acquittal of Sajjan Kumar, the Congress leader in 1984 Anti-Sikh riots accused him of building the conspiracy to commit murder following the assassination of the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Sajjan Kumar was convicted for criminal conspiracy, promoting enmity and acts against communal harmony by a bench of justices S Muralidhar and Vinod Goel. The CBI re-opened the case on recommendation of Nanavati Commission in 2005.

The hearing arguments on the appeals filed by the CBI, concluded on October 29 by the bench of justices Muralidhar and Goel reserved the judgement and the High Court said Kumar's life imprisonment will be for the remainder of his life and asked him to surrender by December 31.

The High Court of Delhi upheld the conviction of five other accused:-
1. Former Councillor Balwan Khokhar
2. Retired Naval Officer Captain Bhagmal
3. Girdhari Lal
4. Former MLA's Mahender Yadav and Kishan Khokhrain

They were convicted in the case relating to the murder of five murder of five members of a family in Delhi's Raj Nagar area on November 1, 1984. While the others Bhagmal, Lal and Khokhar are sentenced life imprisonment, Yadav and Khokharin have been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Calling it an extraordinary case, the High Court of Delhi observed that normal scheme of things, it would have been impossible to proceed against Sajjan Kumar as there appeared to be ongoing large-scale efforts to suppress cases against him by not even recording them.

What is happening in this World, not the citizens but the leaders are misleading. Donald Trump has defended Saudi Arabia in denial of the murder of Washington Post Columnist Jamal Khashoggi by defending himself under the statement of "relationship most important."

He just quoted that whatever he is not doing is for the health & wealth of the country, he is not going to destroy the economy by being foolish enough in going against Saudi Arabi.

The Saudi Arabia representatives say that Jamal Khashoggi was an enemy of the state and a Muslim Brotherhood member, which is stated to be an unacceptable and horrible crime.

The King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman have straightaway denied of having any knowledge of the planning or execution of the murder of Mr. Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump denied the CIA report about Khashoggi death by saying that the report contained nothing definitive and has denied the fact from the report which clearly stated that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman ordered the killing. And Donald Trump covered it by saying that it is too early as they haven't accessed anything yet and it is a very premature report and they will see to it.

Fuel prices cut as Petrol goes below Rs.80 in Delhi. With frequent decline in Fuel prices, cost of petrol has been reduced by 3.08 per litre in delhi with dragging Diesel down to Rs.1.64. Here are the stats for reduction in prices in key cities

⦁ Delhi- 79.75
⦁ Mumbai- 85.24
⦁ Chennai- 82.86
⦁ Kolkata- 81.63

⦁ Delhi- 73.85
⦁ Mumbai- 77.40
⦁ Chennai- 78.08
⦁ Kolkata- 75.70

The frequent reduction in Fuel price has led to fall in international oil prices and appreciation of Rupee. Before the fall of Fuel Price the country saw a hype in the prices of Fuel which touched the hype of prices ever, where Petrol touched a record high of Rs.84 per litre and diesel went up to Rs.75.45 per litre and after that itself the Goverment decided to reduce excise duty on Petrol and Diesel by Rs.1.50 per litre and asked the fuel retailers to reduce their margins by Rs. 1 per litre. But as the International oil prices falled the price of Fuel too falled in India resulting in the appreciation of Rupee.
But as the large proportion of country's requirement is met through imports the retail selling price of Diesel and Petrol is solemnly dependent upon the International prices of Fuel and the Rupee-US dollar exchange rate.

All shops, schools remained close and news of violence has been reported from certain places. The police has been asked to arrest the Bandh supporters and as a result 100’s of the protestants have been detained.
The government has announced an emergency meeting with ministers and BJP leaders to discuss the issue and have asked traders to keep their business running on this day and if they fail to do so their trading license will be cancelled.
Police escorts were provided in public transport to ensure the safe movement of transport services during the protest. 46 organisations have called this Bandh protest against the Centre’s bid to pass the Citizenship Bill, whereas on the other hand some parties like Congress & the AIUDF have shared their support to the Bandh in favour of Assam and its natives.
The Deputy Commissioners of different districts have issued an order for all the government officials to attend their duties and also to the shops, educational institutions, business establishments to remain open and the transport facilities to function normally.
The protestants and the supporting organisations will not call the strike off because the existence of Assamese and their identity is at stake by the Bill.
